About Us
SS Foundation, established on 7th February 2022, is a dynamic and impactful non governmental social organization. With a passion for advocacy intended for social change, the foundation is fueled by an unremitting commitment to the greater welfare of the communities. Based in Nepal we collaborate with like-minded international agencies and organizations for social causes. Registered under the aegis of Nepal’s Company Act (THE COMPANIES ACT, 2063 (2006), Article 18 (6), dedicated to directly benefiting local communities and addressing the pressing needs of disadvantaged individuals. Driven by a commitment to substantial social change, the SS Foundation operates with unwavering determination to usher in tangible social welfare activities with visible results. Our mission transcends mere rhetoric; it is a resounding call to action that reverberates through the very fabric of society with the mantra of “Sarvajan Hitaya Sarvajan Sukhaya” means “For the welfare of all, for the happiness of all.” Our presence is not just a symbol; it is a dynamic force that catalyzes meaningful transformations, leaving an indelible mark on the social landscape of Nepal. We don’t merely dream of a better world; we actively carve out that reality by delving into major sectors that serve as the building blocks of social progress.
Our mission is to empower communities through sustainable development, focusing on key areas such as Literacy and Education, Poverty Reduction, Environment Protection, Social Justice, Women Empowerment, Rural Development, and Sustainable Livelihood.
Objectives
As a non-political and non-profit social institution, the SS Foundation is possessed with the following objectives corresponding to three major themes of the institution:
Empowerment and Development- We aim to empower rural communities through sustainable livelihoods and holistic development initiatives.
Eliminating Injustice- Our goal is to eliminate poverty, illiteracy, ignorance, and socio-economic injustice entrenched in Nepalese society.
Preserving the Environment- SS Foundation strives to preserve the environment for a sustainable future, forging connections between people, the environment, and livelihoods.
Vision
Our vision is audacious but attainable – the empowerment of rural communities by reducing poverty, illiteracy, and socio-economic injustice. Through fostering connections between people, environment, and livelihoods, we aspire to build a future that is not just sustainable but thriving.
